It's open jam, again!

A lot of things have changed since the last Open Jam in 2018. I recently quit my day job to become a freelancer and to be more than a hobby game developer. Besides my projects my goal is to participate regularly on game jams to test out some ideas, testing some other paradigms or new engine features.
I have always been a fan of the game 2048 and recently dug my nose into the tower defense genre. So I came up with this idea of defending the earth while evacuation takes part. I've also tried to apply Rami Ismail's 4:44 rule, which says when a game jam is to be done within 48 hours, spend 4 hours on the core mechanics and 44 hours on polishing. On my opinion the result came out very good. While the initial prototype was done within 5-6 hours I've got plenty of time to spend on pixel-art, animations and the tutorial.
The source, as well as the related assets are released on Github using 'The Unlicense' license, which basically allows you anything to do with it :)
I hope you give my game a try and have some fun with it.
