Simulation Theory: Platformer with a Unique Mechanic
Hey Folks!
we have recently released a new game. For free, of course. It's our contribution to the annual GitHub GameOff Jam. This year the theme was "Bug".
Our interpretation of the theme has its origins in Blizzard's legendary Lost Vikings game. In which you control several characters that have different abilities to reach the end of the level in good old Jump'n'Run style.
In our reinterpretation, every movement of the player is recorded and played back at the next respawn. This way you can interact with your own past selves to master the levels. What makes the game pretty unique.
The feedback so far has been very positive, we would like to make a few more levels, but we also need some more ideas on how to design the levels and puzzles.
So, if you want to play a fun little game (about 15 minutes) check it out now.
We are really looking forward for your feedback.
